This is a question that has been buzzing around my ears for a few days now. Does overall handlebar width make a difference? And, if so, would shortening them help?

My Drifter Endeavor has its standard Kawasaki bars which are 33 1/2 inches overall width. And as I have been going along thee learners patch I feel that I have to reach quite far out to make the tight, slow turns at intersections or tight U-turns.

So, to anyone on the forum..... Would reducing the overall width help or not?

No idea as to their width, but Norm has an 1800 so he could tell you what the distance is for a Honda GL
